Practice Payment Policies

Please contact Bloom a minimum of 48 hours in advance if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment. Failure to provide 48 hours notice will result in a session fee charge. We have the highest respect for the value of your time as well as our own and this industry-adopted policy ensures that we remain in business and able to serve all clients both now and into the future.

Insurance is accepted on a very limited basis for in-network insurance companies. For those with out-of-network insurance, Bloom can provide you with an invoice which can be submitted by you to your insurance company for reimbursement. We do not interact directly with any out-of-network insurance company.

If you plan on using an out-of-network insurance, please contact your carrier prior to your appointment to obtain any information they may need you to provide them for reimbursement.

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:

• Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
• If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
• If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
